Markham Taekwondo Academy’s After School Program is the longest running, most successful After School Pickup Program in Markham because we offer high-quality, professional child care services that ensures that your child is picked up at their school rain or shine at dismissal time. Your child will be looked-after at our academy for a maximum of 3 hours from their school dismissal time. After School Program includes daily Taekwondo lessons; energetic games and fun activities follow by supervised homework time in our designated After School Program Room. Students enrolled in the After school Program participate in the same Taekwondo curriculum recognized by the Ontario Taekwondo Association and Taekwondo Canada. This enables them to earn belt levels towards the coveted Black Belt. Our Black Belt Certificates come directly from Kukkiwon in Korea which is Internationally recognized.
The staff at Markham Taekwondo Academy are highly trained and have acquired a wealth of experience from being the longest running After School Martial Arts Pick Up Program in York Region. MTA’s After school Martial Arts Program is the only program in Markham to have Certified Early Childcare Education (E.C.E), Certified Academic School Teachers, Vulnerable Sector Screening and Police Background Checked staff.
