Established in 1997, our  Markham location (Markham Rd. and Bur Oak Ave), features 4000 sq/ft facility utilizing the latest in training equipment. Markham Taekwondo Academy (MTA) is open 6 days a week  offering superior training program suited for children and adults of all ages. Specializing in both WTF (Olympic style) and traditional taekwondo, MTA also offers self-defense classes and other martial arts programs catered to the recreational practitioner as well as to the high-performance athlete.

MTA offers a wide array of different programs and classes for the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced students; Family Classes; Black Belt Classes; Self Defense, and Competitive Taekwondo training. In addition, MTA provides unique camps for Summer , PA Day and March Break as well as a very popular After School Pickup Program.

Our clean facilities offer you many features, including padded training rooms, change rooms with showers (Unionville), and a large viewing/seating area. Our experienced and friendly instructors are dedicated to give you the best training possible and will be happy to welcome you to our club and have a look around!
